Before and during my BD
Long time no post again, I know I know... For those of you who don't know, my birthday was last week hehe. Since it fell on weekday, I celebrated my birthday last Saturday together with Wendy. Went to Shogun, Sunway Pyramid for dinner. It was second time visiting there since Robin's birthday last year in December. The first time that I went there was during promotion period. It was so much cheaper but then we didn't have enough time since we went there late. This time, we went there prepared hehe. Went in around 6.30pm and stayed there till almost 10pm, maximizing our time limit hehe. The food there was great! For me la.. I heard the Sunway branch now is a lot better than One Utama's Shogun. I don't know how true is that since I've never been to One U's.
The price for one person was RM60 without tax, and plus altogether was RM69. Ouch. I remember it was cheaper before that. Damn, they increased the price again. I actually brought my dslr for this occasion since I haven't used my dslr in ages... It's starting to act a lil crazy now. Poor E300.

The soft shell crabs...yummy!! should have taken more while I still could eat

The oyster filled with 'seafood' stuff sux...oyster shell for decoration only

Now this is the real oyster with cheese!! Yummy~
While just started to take picture of our food, we were then stopped by the waiter. Apparently we are not allowed to take photos of the servings as well....WTF??? Hey, we, bloggersthough I can't be counted as one for now, were the one visiting your outlet, taking photos, giving food review, and at the same time promoting your restaurant for free! And now you go all 'no photos' on us?? Shame on you, owner of Shogun Restaurant. So I rudely asked "Then can take people or not?" Since it's ok to take picture of people, nuff said. We have no choice but to camwhore though this gives us an excuse to do so =P . So bear with us while we camwhore... wahaha...

Wendy the sushis...The salmons were really fresh!

Beef teppanyaki...grab the things you want and the chef will cook it for you
We really tried our best stuffing all those food into our stomach but we just can't deny that we are small eaters. sigh. Guess that's why we're slim eh? hehehe... Was quite satisfied. Wish I could eat more....
The following night we went out for dinner with Robin at this Korean BBQ restaurant in Sri Petaling to celebrate my birthday again... haha. The place is somewhere near the Sri Petaling Hotel just opposite Secret Recipe..if I'm not wrong la. Apparently, we didn't know what to order, so just cincai order as long it's not that expensive haha.

We ordered one big bowl of seafood soup together with rice and pork meat for the BBQ part. Whenever you order anything for BBQ, you'll get a set of those small bowls of stuff...you know, the korean stuff? kimchi yada yada. The one thing I didn't know is that, you can refill those food!! Wtf??? If I knew about that I could have done the same when I went to another Korean BBQ restaurant before that.

The day after that, my dad came to KL for one night stay since he had a meeting in KL. Since he was here, he wanted to chia me for my birthday...woohoo! On that night went to TGI in IOI mall. I've always wanted to try their steak since I hear they are worth it. But then...

Oh boy, was I so wrong!! The steak was delicious but problem is, can you see the size of this steak? It's barely half inch thick!! So thin!! For a Rm47 steak, it's a total ripped off man. For RM47 I can have one of the best steak in Kuching and maybe still cost a lot lesser. A lot. Cis...Felt bad bringing my dad to TGI then kena ripped off. Should have gone to Nando's. Cheaper, bigger portion.
Nevertheless, I am grateful for the people that have celebrated together with me and also to those people who have wished me birthday greetings through sms, facebook, and phone calls. Thank you all! =) Now I will head back to my boring life again T_T
My blog layout looks kinda boring and dull now. Should I change it? hmm...
